Welcome to North of Matter.

I create contemporary abstract paintings that celebrate texture, restraint, and the quiet presence of handcrafted materials. Working primarily with plaster, acrylic, and mixed media, I build layered surfaces that invite light, shadow, and movement to become part of each composition.

My work draws inspiration from the beauty of imperfection. Rather than telling a single story, each painting is intended to create space for reflection; allowing every viewer to experience it differently.

North of Matter represents my belief that art can communicate beyond recognizable imagery. It's an exploration of feeling, balance, and material; where the surface itself becomes the subject.
